The Buduburam Liberian Refugee Settlement, 45 km outside of Accra, Ghana, consists of upwards of 42,000 displaced Liberians. Of these refugees, nearly 30,000 are women and children. Africa Aid, aligned with established aid programs in the Buduburam Settlement, is addressing the major problems of this community displaced by over fourteen years of civil war.

The community within the Buduburam Settlement is desperately seeking the means to establish basic Health Care, Education, Water, and Economic Empowerment infrastructure.
