SANTA BARBARA, California - June 1, 2008 - Africa Aid is proud to announce raising $8000 at two recent photographic galleries in Southern California. The events, entitled THE ROAD TO AGADEZ: Exposures of a Circuit through Africa, highlighted a half-year's travels through Western and Southern Africa by photographer and Executive Vice President of Africa Aid, Craig Edelman. A total of 35 prints were sold in Santa Barbara and Ventura at the March 2008 events. All proceeds from the photography sales will directly benefit Africa Aid's upcoming Micro-Lending Initiative.
